Starting her career in Journalism during her senior college year, Julie later interned at news channels after changing her career path. Her journey kicked off as a production intern at MSNBC during the 2016 presidential elections. In 2017, she became an Anchor producer, aiding anchors in story research.
After graduating, she landed a desk assistant role at NBC News in New York in 2017, staying till 2018. Transitioning in 2018, she joined MSNBC’s election team, leading production and coordinating different units for Election 2018 coverage. Moving up, she became a digital producer under Hallie Jackson, the chief white house correspondent.
Julie handled digital politics for NBC, reporting on political news and assisting with live broadcast shooting and editing until 2019. Later, she took on the role of Capitol Hill Unit producer and reporter for an NBC news channel in Washington DC.
