Absolutely, the Sunday Scaries can still creep up during the summer! It's that pre-Monday anticipation that doesn't discriminate against seasons. But here's a thought: what if we use Sundays to reset and recharge? Maybe a short walk or a moment of mindfulness to appreciate the warm weather and prepare for the week ahead.

To my people going into their senior year of college without any internship experience:If you missed out on landing an internship, I would still take the initiative to find other work to do this summer. Even if it’s not in your field, gaining experience working or volunteering with different people is great experience and great for your resume. #1on1sWithErika #CareerAdvice

What do you do if your team lacks career development and you have a disengaged boss at a great company?I say you use this opportunity to take on new projects, learn as much as you can and build your resume. Once you’ve done all you can, get out of there and go find a better job with a better boss. #1on1sWithErika #CareerAdvice

I wouldn’t stay at a company I’m miserable at just because it looks good on my resume. It’s already on your resume. Now use that to go get something new & exciting. #1on1sWithErika #CareerAdvice

Freelance VS Full-Time. What are you choosing? While there are some awesome benefits to being freelance, you are at the whim of your demand and you may miss a paycheck here and there. If you’re a freelance lover and you’re getting full-time offers, there’s no harm in going to the full-time interviews and seeing what these companies are about. #1on1sWithErika #CareerAdvice

What do you do if your employer asks you to stay for a few weeks after being laid off?I don’t think it’s strange for a company to ask you to stay on for a few weeks but they should be paying you for your time. While awkward, I think it may be important to do it if you want to stay on good terms with the company. #1on1sWithErika #CareerAdvice
